What are the requirements to become a partner in Moving Insurance, LLC's network? The requirements are:
How long does it take to complete the application and join Moving Insurance, LLC? Once we received the complete application form and all necessary supporting documents, Moving Insurance, LLC will run its own verification process and issue a decision within 5 business days. Each company will assign a contact person who will create an account login on our system. Using his/her username and password, they can login any time to review all their relevant information. What is the latest opportunity for our customers to purchase a policy prior to their move date? We recommend that customers purchase the insurance policy no later than 48 business hours prior to their moving date. However, our system allows (while it is not recommended) last minute purchases. What type of insurance policies are provided via Moving Insurance, LLC? Moving Insurance, LLC provides the consumers with a variety of insurance policies to cover all aspects of their move. Among these policies are Household Goods protection, Auto Shipping, Storage, Pairs and Sets and Mechanical and Electrical Derangement. These policies are offered for domestic coverage (Intrastate and Interstate), as well international moves. The policies cover surface, rail, sea and air shipping methods. Who are the insurance companies participating in Moving Insurance, LLC's network? The insurance companies in our network are companies who underwrite the Ocean and Marine Inland policy, which is used for Transit Insurance for consumers' shipment while in the moving process. These companies have been screened by Moving Insurance, LLC to ensure their rates, policies, and claims settlement procedures suit the needs of our affiliates and their customers. What is the cost to join Moving Insurance, LLC's network? There is no cost to join Moving Insurance, LLC's network. Who handles claims submitted by our customers? All claims submitted by your customers who purchased moving insurance on our site will be handled by our claims processing agent, a licensed insurance agency representing the insurance companies. Are we involved in any way during the claims process? No. All claims are handled by us via our claims processing agency, with no reflection and liability to you. What prompts the removal of an affiliate from Moving Insurance, LLC's network? An affiliate could be eliminated from the network should they not adhere to our agreement, or should we realize that we are not receiving the anticipated results from our relationship with this specific affiliate. All above measurements are the sole discretion of Moving Insurance, LLC and its insurance providers. Can we review our customers' policies and records? Yes. Our online application allows the partner access to all records as it relates to policies purchased by their customers. Affiliates will be able to review all details of policies purchased, including all claims regarding these policies, if applicable. In addition, vendors will be able to review their own account with Moving Insurance, LLC, as it relates to their reports and account status. Access to the system is done with a username and password access and is provided in a real time manner anytime. The link to the vendor's website will be installed and maintained by our technical team. In some cases, we may need to discuss some details with the vendors' technical team to ensure a smooth transaction. In most cases, as long as the information is provided by the partner in a timely manner, the link will be set up within one business day. Can an insurance policy be purchased by one of our representatives, on behalf of our customer? Yes, an insurance policy could be purchased by one of your representatives, as long as all necessary details were provided and all agreements and disclosures are accepted and signed for. |
